About the Site
This website contains my notes from philosophy courses, books and other sources I have found. They are in electronic form to make it easy for me to find them when I need them. If they are also useful for you, great!
My Main Goals
- To tweak and improve my methodology for judging truth claims, especially on the most important questions we can ask.
- Help systematize what I believe and make it quick and easy to look up information related to those beliefs.
- Make it easier to look up information from my personal notes or on the books I own.
- Put my knowledge gained from university and my personal studies into a useful format.
- Make the results of my studies available to people who have a sincere desire to seek after truth, wherever it leads.
Technology Used
I had originally planned on using a group of linked software and database programs to store my growing collection of notes from various sources. Ultimately I decided to go with a web based solution since that is the medium I work with. Target Audience
I have designed this site for the following groups of people:
- Me
- Other Christians
- Anyone else who finds it useful, especially those who seek 'Truth, Goodness and Beauty'.
The primary audience for this site is me, I had originally intended on using a number of software programs to accomplish the same needs. But some of my coworkers suggested I use a web based platform, since a lot of software development is moving in that direction. It also fits in well with open source ideology.
