This classic book by Mortimer Adler teaches high level reading skills that are useful for anyone that wants to read philosophical, theological or scientific works.

There are four levels of reading:

• Elementary
• Inspectional
• Analytical
• Syntoptical

Elementary reading should get you the skills you need to read this material (Grade school level.) It will not be covered in my notes.
